At Monkey Junkie, Inc., we are committed to customer service and resolving any issues as quickly and as easily as possible.

Short Version

  1. Defective items can be returned within 30 days for replacement, credit or refund including tax and standard shipping costs if reported within 72 hours of receipt of the order. Otherwise defective items may be returned for replacement or in-store credit only less shipping and tax (ND only).
  2. Non-defective items can be returned for a refund within 30 days and are subject to a 25% restocking fee. However, we will give 100% (less tax and shipping) as in-store credit.
  3. All electronic items are covered by a 1 year manufacturers warranty unless otherwise noted.
  4. All return items must have all original manufacturers packaging to be returned and accept for defective items must be unopened and unused.

RMA Guidelines

  1. Purchaser is only eligible for a refund, credit or exchange if the purchaser has made a RMA request and the request was acknowledged as received by Monkey Junkie, Inc. within 30 days of the original invoice date and all other criteria has been met as stated in this return policy and / or any special terms that may be listed with the item(s) as displayed on www.monkeyjunkie.com or displayed at the time of purchase prior to completion of "checkout" on www.monkeyjunkie.com.
  2. Upon or after the 30th day from the original invoice date all sales are final.
  3. All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns include all item(s) returned to Monkey Junkie, Inc. for refund, exchange, credit or other reconciliation methods.
  4. Refunds, exchanges and credits cannot be processed without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  5. Items received in damaged condition must be reported with-in 48 hours of receipt of the item, by contacting Monkey Junkie, Inc. customer service.
  6. Box and packaging for damaged goods must be retained for inspection by courier.
  7. The returned package must be received within 10 business days of the RMA issue date. All exchanges and returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  8. Refunds, Exchanges or Credits are only issued after the item(s) in question are received at the address listed for returns to Monkey Junkie, Inc. and determined to meet all pretense for which the RMA was issued.
  9. If for any reason the returned item(s) do not meet the pretense for which the RMA was issued the item(s) will be deemed as "not eligible" for refund, credit, exchange or any other form of compensation to the purchaser for any item(s) for which the RMA was issued. Furthermore the purchaser agrees to pay all shipping and handling charges incurred for both the return of the item to Monkey Junkie, Inc. and for the return from Monkey Junkie, Inc. back to the customer for all item(s) deemed as "not eligible". Furthermore the purchaser also agrees to release Monkey Junkie, Inc. from any responsibility or liability related to the transaction.

Possible Reasons for Return

  1. The item(s) received were not the item(s) ordered - Eligible for a full refund of original purchase price including tax (ND residents only) or credit for the original purchase price including tax (ND residents only) or exchange for the original item ordered. Monkey Junkie, Inc. is NOT responsible for non standard shipping charges for either the "wrong" item(s) returned to us or the original purchased item(s) delivery to the purchaser.
  2. The item(s) were not opened and never used as determined by Monkey Junkie, Inc. upon receipt of the returned item(s) - Eligible for a full refund including tax (ND residents only) but minus 25% restocking fee of the original purchase price before tax and shipping charges. Or the purchaser may receive credit for the original purchase price of the item(s) without incurring a restocking fee. Purchaser is responsible for all shipping and handling charges to return the item(s) to Monkey Junkie, Inc.
  3. The item(s) were opened and / or used - Not Eligible. For problems that are product specific and covered under warranty by the manufacturer, the manufacturer should be contacted. See manufacturer web site for support and warranty. All requests for technical service and support should be made directly to the manufacturer in accordance with their terms and conditions.

Exceptions to our Return Policy
Any products that are exceptions to our regular return policy are clearly marked. Item(s) described as "Clearance", "Closeout" or "Daily Specials" item(s) are Exceptions to our Return Policy. Please read below for details.

Clearance Items
Item(s) described as "clearance", "closeout" or "Daily Specials" item(s) can only be returned for credit and only if they are damaged or deemed defective and all other return policy requirements are satisfied. Purchaser is responsible for all shipping charges.

Warranty
Please understand that all warranties are by manufacturers only. Manufacturers require that they directly handle their damaged or defective products. Please contact the manufacturer for repairs or replacements of these items.

All Software Products
Unopened software can be exchanged within 30 days of the invoice date and all other return policy requirements are satisfied. Purchaser is responsible for all shipping charges. Opened software is not eligible for return.

Refurbished Products
Warranty on refurbished products varies. Please contact the manufacturer for exact warranty period offered on their products. Please contact the manufacture to learn about their warranty policies. Generally all factory Refurbished products carry a 90 day warranty.

After Receiving Your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number

  1. Write your RMA number legibly on the return label.
  2. Please remember that Monkey Junkie, Inc. is not responsible for item(s) lost or damaged while being returned. We recommend that you have your shipper package the item(s) and insure the item(s) for the replacement value.
  3. Once the item(s) have been received at the address listed we will inspect them to ensure that they meet the pretense for which the RMA was issued and contact the purchaser to facilitate resolution of the RMA.

Issuing Refunds, Credits and Exchanges
If all return policy requirements have been meet a refund, credit, or exchange will be issued within three business days of the determination of eligibility. Please keep in mind if a refund is issued it may take more then three business days to appear on your account. If a credit is issued you will receive a one time use "coupon code" for the credit amount that may be applied to any eligible item(s) listed for sale on www.monkeyjunkie.com. When exchanging an item, you will be sent a replacement item and a new tracking number once Monkey Junkie, Inc. receives, approves and processes the returned item.
